Dear Visitors!
There is only one day left until #BSidesBUD2018 and we would like to provide some important information for you regarding the conference.
Arriving
Please arrive on time! The registration starts at 08:00 AM and the first talk is due to 09:00 AM! It’s more comfortable if you can take your seat relaxed and don’t have to rush, isn’t it? Another reason is that the number of BSidesBUD T-shirts is limited, (only the first 250 guest will get one), so if you want to have a fancy conference T-shirt, don’t be late! 😉

Go to the 1st floor of Lurdy Ház and you’ll find the Conference center next to the restaurants!
Parking
If you come to the conference by car, you can use the outdoor parking lot behind Lurdy Ház. Normally you have to pay for parking, but if you tell us at the registration desk that you came by car, we’ll provide you a “leaving ticket” that lets you out of the parking lot for free. Please note that you can use ONLY the outdoor parking lot for free. 😉
Registration at the venue
Please don’t forget to print out your tickets you received at registration OR bring the barcode of the ticket on your mobile phone, so we can check you in. We can only give you the armband after you have checked in.
Coffee break
There will be a 20 minutes long coffee break in the program from 10:30 to 10:50. During this period you can have coffee and some non-alcoholic drinks for free in the catering room. Please note that the amount of beverages is limited.
Lunch break
During the 45 minutes long lunch break you can have some food at Lurdy’s restaurants next to the Conference Center.
Workshops
If you’ve registered for a workshop it would be great if you could bring an extension wire/hub. There will be some in the workshop room, but we would appreciate if you could help us by bringing your own. The preliminary registration for workshop sessions is closed today at 6:00 PM. After that, you can only apply for a workshop at the venue if there are free seats left at the specific session.
Hackcenter
There will be a HackCenter in the catering room of #BSidesBUD2018! Hackerspace Budapest, Hackerspace Szeged, and SecureITeam will be on site waiting for cybersec enthusiasts, who want to meet people with similar interest and learn from each other peer-to-peer. The team will bring a hardware workshop where you can practice hardware hacking while building and breaking things, but there will a live wargame and rogue ap with logging http post passwords as well along with many more interesting things and challenges. If you would like to dive deeper into the world of hackers you should check out HackCenter tomorrow!
Free wardrobe
You will get a coupon when you check-in for the conference and you can use the wardrobe for free with it. The wardrobe of Lurdy Conference center can be found next to the restaurants.
